Biomass

The National Trust

Subcontracted via Re-Heat, we were commissioned to undertake both mechanical and electrical installations, replacing Hardwick Hallʼs ageing oil system with two, ETA Hack 200KW Biomass boilers.

The National Trust Hardwick Hall

Hardwick Hall will be making a considerable saving on their energy spend in the years to come.

From June to December 2018, we laid over 500 metres of district host Rehau plastic pipework throughout the estate to power the the majority of the buildings, including on-site accommodation, a considerable sized restaurant and to provide conservation heat for the main hall. The ETA Hack 200KW boilers are pellet-fed and through the RHI Scheme, have ensured that Hardwick Hall will be making a considerable saving on their energy spend in the years to come.

RHI Scheme

To help you to join this green revolution, the UK Government are rewarding you by exempting you from taxes such as the Climate Change Levy. You are also paid for every kwh of heat you generate from biomass, from the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme. These payments are index linked to inflation and they’re guaranteed for 20 years.
